Our Tri-axle fleet starts at the deck widening end, these trailers have hydraulic widening decks that extend out to 3.5 m , average deck length is 11 m , the axle width remains at 2.5 m to allow better access to tight subdivisions ETC. Two of the floats have double hung bi-fold ramps especially suited to road paving equipment or items that require a low angle of approach. All of these floats can carry up to approx. 28 ton however if you add one of our 2 x 4 dollies into the configuration this would increase to approx. 42 ton.

The next step up is our full widening tri-axle Float where the axles also widen giving extra stability for the “top heavy” loads we may encounter, these Floats widen to 3.6m and when coupled to a 2 x 4 dolly can carry up to 44 ton.

Quad axle Low Loaders are the next link in the chain, again comprising of deck wideners and full wideners. Deck wideners are all rear steer giving superb maneuverability in tight areas, one of these Floats also have 30,000 lb winches to assist clients with broken down equipment thankfully it’s not often but a godsend when required. These units can carry up to 34 ton and can be linked with a dolly taking it up to approx. 48 ton.

Much like the tri-axle fleet we also have full widening quads, again better for the real heavy gear and better suited to long haul work, some of these units are equipped with bi-fold ramps for easy loading. These rigs can carry up to 48 ton again one has a winch for breakdowns.

The final piece in the puzzle is our 4 x 8 units which are capable of carrying up to 98 tons when coupled to a 2 x 8 dolly.

Our fleet of flat tops and A sections are ideal for the added extras when working with the low loader fleet carrying large rigs, i.e. counter weights, booms, buckets etc. from large machines or for general freight. Our drive through capabilities on these trailers is very useful for multiplies of small machines that can be self-loaded via the trailer ramps.

Our heavy forklifts have a lift capacity up to 32 ton, these units would be floated to your job on a wet hire basis, operated by our driver and then returned to our base, a great quick alternative to cranes when the space or site requirements are a little different.
